Scott E. Moore is the founder & host of The Writer's Hang performance series, which takes place in Hoboken on the first Thursday night of each month. Scott is a New Jersey native, a gifted musician, a singer/songwriter and a performer. He is a modern acoustic artist whose style is hard to pin down. With Scott E. Moore, folk, blues & soul come together. His performances are soulful & intimate affairs, where he takes the audience on a journey, using velvet vocals, tasty guitar playing, clever phrasing and evocative imagery & stories. Scott will be the host of this evenings’ show – presented "Writer’s Hang – Style"  -- with his two friends, Jim Boggia  and Mike Viola.

Jim Boggia has been touring for nearly fifteen years. He has an unabashed love for pop music of all sorts – the cool, the classic, the corny – which informs his own meticulously constructed, immediately engaging songs. But he’s more than just a craftsman; his songs are deeper, sometimes darker and more seriously romantic than his pop-trivia playfulness might suggest. He’s a brilliant musician and a walking encyclopedia of pop music.

Marc Von Em has a strong, sincere voice which complements his lyrically rich & expressive song writing. His unique finger picking & guitar style rounds out this album beautifully. With Rob Thomas, Marc has appeared on The Tonight Show, Late Night with Dave Letterman, The View, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, & The Today Show. Marc also appeared on the 2005 "Fashion Rocks" at Radio City Music Hall, and was honored to perform for over a million people at Live 8 in Philadelphia this past summer.

The three songwriters will each take turns playing their own songs peppered with cover tunes as well. It is certain that none of them will sit quietly while one of them is performing. Each will add guitar, piano or backing vocals to flesh out the sounds of the one who is performing.  According to Scott, "by the fourth or fifth song things will spiral out of control in a delightful way. I call it Musical Turretts Syndrome or the Human Jukebox Competition. Between the two of them, they know EVERY SONG EVER WRITTEN! I’ll do my best to keep up!"
